Automatic Account Changes

In the next few months, Duda will be moving legacy accounts (SMB and DudaPro) to its modern payments technology that was launched in 2018 and includes the Basic, Team, and Agency plans.

Changed accounts will get immediate access to the App Store, and to any future feature that requires additional payment. This was not possible under the legacy payments technology served the SMB and Pro plans. Additionally, changed accounts can access higher features by upgrading to Team and Agency plans directly from the platform, no need to contact support.

If you cancel your account plan, and want to repurchase a plan, you will be able to purchase the Basic, Team, or Agency plans, but not the SMB plan.

SMB Accounts with a Single Site Subscription

If you have an account with an SMB plan and have a single site subscription, the following is information you need to know:

  • You will continue to pay the same prices on the same dates.
  • If you buy a new site or a paid app, you will be charged on the day of the month you pay for your current site.
  • If you want to stop paying for a site, switch it to ‘do not renew’ state to stop auto-renewal of the subscription. You won’t get a refund for the period between the switch and the end of the subscription, and you can keep your site live until the end of the subscription.
  • If you want to stop paying for an app, remove it from your site. You won’t get a refund for the period between the removal and the end of the subscription.

SMB Accounts with More than one Site Subscription

After Duda changes your account, you will receive an email confirmation. The following is then relevant:

  • Your charges will be consolidated and you will pay once a month on your billing day.
  • Duda will charge you once a month on your billing day for all subscriptions renewed during that month.
  • Your billing day is specified in the confirmation email that was sent to you following the upgrade.
  • If you want to stop paying for a site, switch it to ‘do not renew’ to stop auto-renewal of the subscription. You won’t get a refund for the period between the switch and the end of the subscription, and you can keep your site live until the end of the subscription.
  • If you want to stop paying for an app, remove it from your site. You won’t get a refund for the period between the removal and the end of its subscription.

Pros (General)

  • If you want to stop paying for an app, remove it from your site. You won’t get a refund for the period between the removal and the end of the subscription.
  • If you choose to cancel your Pro account plan, or it is canceled due to failed payments, you won’t be able to purchase it again. You will be able to purchase the Basic, Team, or Agency plans.
  • You can upgrade to Agency plans from the dashboard, no need to contact support. To upgrade, log in to Duda, hover your mouse over your email address, and then click Upgrade.
    • If you have published free sites, you need to unpublish them and then publish and purchase a subscription before you can upgrade.
