Dashboard Domain
The Dashboard Domain is the domain your clients see on your preview pages. This domain is also used for your client login, dashboard, and editor.
To use the default domain, select Default Domain and type a sub-domain in the field provided. Select either responsivesiteeditor.com or responsivesiteeditor.io for the domain.
To use a custom domain, select Custom Domain and type a domain name including the full address in the field provided. For example, login.sitename.com. If you are unsure sure what settings to use for your custom domain, we recommend the following (replace yourdomain.com below with your own domain name):
- Custom Domain name: preview.yourdomain.com
- CNAME settings:
- host: preview
- domain: m.previewmymobile.com
- Depending on what you have entered, it will return the CNAME record to add in your domain registrar's DNS settings. Take these records and go into your domain registrar (GoDaddy, Bluehost, and so on) and add them.
If you are unable to find these settings, contact your domain host. Setting up a CNAME is very similar to setting up a CNAME for a responsive or mobile site and may also take some time to propagate. - After you have finished adding the CNAME record, return to the Dashboard Domain page and click Verify to confirm the settings.
You are now be able to access your white-labeled dashboard by using the domain you have set up. - Click Save.
