DudaFlex Permissions

NOTE

This feature is still in development and will gradually be released to all customers.

You can define whether team members and clients can and cannot add new DudaFlex sections to a site.

NOTE

If there are DudaFlex sections already in the site, disabling permission to add DudaFlex sections will not hide existing DudaFlex sections.

Team sections using DudaFlex that are not categorized as DudaFlex sections will be available to users.

Custom templates with DudaFlex sections will be available.

Team Members

To define whether team members can add new DudaFlex sections:

  1. Log in to your account to access the Dashboard.
  2. In the top navigation, click Team, and select Team Permissions.
  3. Click a group to see its members. A team member can only be assigned to one group.
  4. Click the edit (edit_pencil_icon.png) button to change team details, or change group assignment.

Clients

To define whether clients can add new DudaFlex sections:

  1. Log in to your account to access the Dashboard.
  2. On the top of the page, click Clients, and then click Client Management.

If your clients have full editing access, and you don’t want them to access DudaFlex mode, you can use the lock for client editing feature and lock that section, or change settings to be content only. For more information, see Lock Elements.

Collaboration Tools in DudaFlex

DudaFlex also allows for custom branding, site comments, and team sections. All permissions surrounding these features may be added using the DudaFlex permissions above. For more information about permissions, see Manage User Permissions.
