Solution
After publishing and setting up a custom domain, do the following:
- In the side panel, click Settings.
- Click Site SSL.
- Click Generate Certificate to create an SSL certificate. This process may take up to 30 minutes during which an In Progress status appears. After provisioning is complete, the status updates and an approval email is sent to the account owner.
Note
You can ensure your site will always be accessed via SSL by toggling on Force visitors to use secure connection (HTTPS).
There is a 64-character limit for the domain (including WWW) in order for the SSL certificate to be generated.
