The blog title, author, and image are connected to post settings by default, so they will be pre-populated when you create a post.
Solution
You can change the content for each post or modify the connections to display exactly what works for your business.
To change post content:
- In the side panel, click Blog.
- Click the gear (
) icon on the post you want to modify.
- Scroll to post details.
- Change the title, author, or image.
- Click Publish or Republish to make the changes live.
Titles are required for all posts, but you can choose not to show an author in the drop down menu. If an image is not added, the post image will default to a transparent background.
To change post connections:
- In the side panel, click Blog.
- Click Edit Layout.
- Click anywhere on the connected element.
- Select a new connection from the drop down.
- Select None to disconnect.
Any connections changed or disconnected in Layout Mode affect all posts. Learn more about Connected Data.
For changes in Post Mode to be visible online, you must republish the post. For changes in Layout Mode to be visible online, you must republish the site.
