Note
Disclaimer: Duda Vibe is currently in beta. By using this feature, you acknowledge it is experimental, may contain unexpected behavior, and is subject to modification at any time.
The Code tab lets you view and edit your project's files. Instead of editing code yourself, you can also describe the change to Copilot and it makes the update for you. To learn more, see Use AI Chat in Vibe.
Note
The Code tab is available only to users with the Dev Mode permission. To learn how to set permissions, see Manage Team Members.
To edit your project's code:
-
Click the Code tab at the top of the Vibe workspace.
-
In the file list, select the file you want to edit. To find a file, use the search field.
-
Edit the code.
-
Click Save Changes.
Each save creates a new version of your project, named Manual edit: followed by the file name. To view or restore versions, see Project Versions and History in Vibe.
A dot next to a file name means it has unsaved changes. You can switch between files without losing them. To undo unsaved changes, click Discard.
If you leave the Code tab or click Preview with unsaved changes, a Leave without saving? message appears. Click Keep Editing to go back, or Leave anyway to continue without saving.
Warning
Unsaved changes stay in the Code tab only while the project is open. If you close the project or go back to the project list, they're lost.
The Code tab saves your changes even if the code has an error. If an error stops your project from building, the message Changes saved, but the build failed appears. Click Fix with Copilot to have Copilot find and fix the error and explain what it changed, or click Restore to previous version to undo your change. Fix with Copilot uses credits.
