Generate Blog Post with AI

You can leverage AI to generate SEO and AEO-ready blog posts complete with text and images. This helps reduce time-to-publish by automatically creating a structured blog post that’s optimized to be discoverable by both traditional search engines and AI-powered search, such as ChatGPT. It’s helpful for maintaining an active web presence, scaling content production, or quickly populating client sites with high-quality content; while still allowing you to edit and refine the final blog post before it is published.

Each AI-generated post includes a title, space for an author, date, body text, URL slug, main image, thumbnail image, image alt text, meta title, and meta description, all automatically mapped to the default blog layout. This ensures your content is not only quick to generate, but also structured and optimized for SEO and AEO from the start.

How to Generate a Blog Post with AI

It is important to note that the AI Assistant generates blog posts in the site’s default language and uses the default blog layout.

Note

Only users with AI Assistant and Blog, or Editor permissions can access the AI generation tool.

To generate a blog post with AI:

  1. In the side panel, click Blog.

  2. Click to open the Posts tab.

  3. Click New Post, then select Draft with AI.

  4. If you have not completed the AI Assistant Business Profile previously, you will be prompted to complete it now. To learn how to best complete the Business Profile fields, see Create a Better Business Profile. Click Post Details when complete.

    Note that information entered in the Business Profile will automatically sync to and populate across all other AI Assistants and Business Info across the platform.

  5. Complete the following fields:

    • What is this post about?

    • Who is the target audience?

    • What tone of voice to use? Note that Conversational tone is selected by default.

    • How long should the post be? Note that 1440 words is selected by default.

  6. Click Generate post.

The generated post is in draft status until you review and publish it. We always recommend reviewing AI-generated content for accuracy before publishing.
