Duda's Copilot is a conversational AI assistant built right into the platform, designed to help you work faster, smarter, and with less effort. Copilot helps you create new pages, edit your site's design and content, update collections, generate Custom Widgets, and more; all through a single chat interface. Copilot is context aware, meaning it knows your existing site content and the page or element you've selected.
For a full overview of what Copilot can do, see Duda Copilot Overview.
You can access Copilot by opening the assistant from the top bar on either your account or site dashboard.
You can type a query or browse Copilot’s suggested prompts. You can also ask Copilot for a list of actions it can complete. If you have a specific site in mind, you can type @ followed by the site name to make your request more clear.
Copilot actions use AI Credits. Each action consumes credits, and the number of credits depends on the complexity of the action. For example, a small text edit uses fewer credits than generating an entire page.

Copilot offers two modes: plan and build. Build mode focuses on execution, while plan mode allows you to brainstorm, structure, and refine your ideas before making any changes to your widget or site. By gathering the full context up front and asking clarifying questions before making changes, Copilot can get you closer to what you want with fewer iterations or edits later.
What can I do in plan mode?
-
Brainstorm ideas and explore various approaches
-
Break down your project into a clear, actionable task list
-
Plan features and site structure while using AI guidance
-
Ask questions without making changes to your site
To switch between plan and build mode, click the mode dropdown and select either Plan or Build.
Connected Data and Dynamic Pages
Copilot does not yet support dynamic pages, connected data, or inline data binding. Support is coming soon. In the meantime, keep the following in mind when working on pages that use connected data:
-
Copilot is not aware when an element is connected to data. If you ask Copilot to edit a connected element, it updates the element's placeholder content rather than the connected data.
-
If you ask Copilot to edit text that uses inline data binding, the binding is overridden with regular text.
We recommend making changes to connected data through the collection itself (you can ask Copilot to update collection rows and fields), and avoiding Copilot edits to connected elements on the canvas until support is added.
Client Access
Copilot is currently only available to owners and staff members with the Edit permission. Client access is planned for a future update.
