AI credits are the unit Duda uses to measure usage of AI-powered features. Every paid account plan includes a monthly credit allowance at no extra cost, shared across your entire account. When you need more, you can purchase top-up packages at any time.
An AI credit is a unit that measures usage of certain AI-powered actions. When we move to a credit system, each AI request to generate, refine, or update content will consume credits based on the complexity of the request, and the credits will be deducted from your account’s credit balance.
Some AI features do not consume credits and remain available regardless of your credit balance.
The following features consume AI credits:

Generate Site. AI-generated websites from a prompt.

AI credits will only be consumed for this feature after you reach the number of free uses as defined by your account plan.

Populate Template. AI-populated template content.

Widget Builder (Site Widgets). AI-generated custom widgets for a specific site.

Widget Builder (Account Widgets). AI-generated widgets available for all sites in your account.

Editor Copilot. AI assistance inside the editor (coming soon).

It is important to note that credits are also consumed when AI features are triggered via the API or MCP, not just through the Duda interface directly.

AI credits for Vibe does not apply to Custom plans.
Each published Vibe site that is on a paid Vibe subscription (not funded by a site credit) grants additional monthly AI credits to your account. These credits are added to your account's shared balance for the duration of the subscription.
Every account will receive a recurring monthly amount of included credits as part of its account plan. The exact included amounts by plan will be published before enforcement begins. Credits are shared across the account, meaning all users under the same account draw from the same shared credit balance.
If you need more credits, top-up credits are available as one-time purchases.
AI usage before the AI credit effective date will not be charged retroactively.
Note
If your plan is canceled or a billing payment fails, your monthly included credits are revoked. Any unused top-up credits remain available until their expiration date.
If your account reaches zero credits, AI features that consume credits will stop working and you will be prompted to make a one-time purchase of top-up credits. Note that only account admins can purchase top up credits.
Warning
If any credits from a top-up package have been used, the package is non-refundable. If a package is entirely unused, you may request a refund; the credits will be revoked and the amount returned.
Account admins can purchase top up credits by clicking Top Up in the hamburger menu. A popup will appear where you can select the desired top up package, then click Purchase.
You can check your AI credit balance from the hamburger menu on the dashboard and in the editor, or from the Billing area of your account.
To view your AI credit balance from the dashboard or inside the editor, click the hamburger menu in the upper left corner of the screen. At the bottom of the hamburger menu your available monthly and top up credits are displayed.
To view your AI credit balance from the Billing area, click your account avatar on the project dashboard and select Billing. Your AI credit usage can be viewed on the AI Credit Usage page.
