This feature is in beta and is being gradually rolled out to accounts.
Connect and verify an email domain before sending marketing emails. Domain authentication helps improve email deliverability, protect your sender reputation, and allows you to send emails from your own domain.
After you enter your sending email address, the required DNS records are generated.
The records can include:
-
Two CNAME records for DKIM authentication.
-
One CNAME record for the tracking domain.
-
An SPF record, if required by your email provider.
Add the displayed records to your domain's DNS settings. The exact steps depend on your DNS provider.
After adding the records, click Verify Domain.
Note
DNS changes can take time to propagate. If your domain cannot be verified immediately, wait and try again later.
After verification begins, your domain can have one of the following statuses:
-
Pending: The DNS records are still propagating.
-
Partially Verified: Some, but not all, required records have been verified.
-
Verified: The domain is authenticated and ready to send marketing emails.
-
Failed: One or more required DNS records could not be found. Review the affected records and update your DNS settings as needed.
You can connect multiple email domains. One domain must be set as the Default Sending Domain.
Depending on the domain's status, you can:
-
Verify Again
-
Set as Default
-
Edit Sender Information
-
Disconnect Domain
Note
You can also access domain setup while creating a campaign or adding an email action to an automation if you do not have a verified domain.
