Connetti e verifica un dominio email prima di inviare email di marketing. L'autenticazione del dominio aiuta a migliorare la recapitabilità delle e-mail, a proteggere la reputazione del mittente e consente di inviare e-mail dal proprio
[en] Email domains are connected per site, from the Domains section on the Project Overview page.
[en] The email domain is built from your site's custom domain, so a few things need to be in place first:
-
[en] The site is published.
-
[en] The site has a custom domain connected. A Duda default domain or a domain managed in Duda can't be used, see Make Your Site Live: Initial Steps and DNS Record Setup.
-
[en] Your plan includes custom email domains. For more information, see Duda's pricing page.
-
[en] Team members and clients need the Custom domain permission. For more information, see Manage Team Members and Manage Clients.
-
[en] You can add records to the domain's DNS settings, or someone who can is available to help.
[en] A site can connect two email domains, each in its own setting on the Domains card. Each one is verified separately and has its own sending reputation, so a problem with one doesn't affect delivery of the other.
-
[en] Transactional email: sends site emails, such as contact form notifications and automatic replies to people who submit a form. The suggested address is
info@i.yourdomain.com. -
[en] Marketing email: sends campaigns and automation emails from Marketing Automation. The suggested address is
marketing@m.yourdomain.com.
Nota
[en] Marketing emails can't be sent until the marketing email domain is verified and your Business Profile is complete. Transactional emails keep sending from a shared Duda address in the meantime. For more information, see Business Profile for Marketing Automation.
[en] After the transactional email domain is verified, contact form emails are sent from your transactional address automatically. You don't need to change your form settings.
[en] To connect an email domain:
-
[en] Open the Project Overview for your site.
-
[en] In the Domains section, find the Email domains section.
-
[en] In the field for the email domain you want to connect, marketing or transactional, keep the suggested name or enter your own. The rest of the address comes from your site's domain and can't be edited.
-
[en] Click Connect.
-
[en] In the window that opens, sign in to your DNS provider and approve the records.
[en] The records are added to your domain, and verification starts automatically.
[en] If your DNS provider isn't supported, the window shows the records to add yourself instead. For more information, see Add the DNS Records Manually. To have someone else add them, click Send instructions to admin.
Nota
[en] The part of the address before the @ symbol can't contain spaces or an @ symbol. If you close the window before approving the records, the connection is canceled and you can start again.
[en] If your DNS provider isn't supported for one-click setup, the window shows the records to add yourself instead.
[en] To add the records manually:
-
[en] In the Connect your domain manually window, scroll to see all four records: three CNAME records and one TXT record.
-
[en] Copy the name and value of each record and add it in your DNS provider's settings. The exact steps depend on your provider.
-
[en] Return to the window and click I've added these records.
Nota
[en] All four records are required. The email domain can't be verified until every record is found, and marketing emails can't be sent until the marketing email domain is verified.
Avvertimento
[en] The records can't be viewed again after you close the window. Add all four records, or save a copy of them, before you close it. If you lose them, disconnect the email domain and connect it again. New records are generated each time, so replace any records you already added with the new ones.
[en] Verification starts automatically after the records are added, and the email domain connects once all four records are found. It can take up to 48 hours for changes to go live.
[en] While an email domain is being checked, its address appears in its row on the Domains card, and Connection can take time appears below the email domains. When the notice no longer appears, the email domain is verified.
Nota
[en] The Connection can take time notice appears even if records are missing or were added incorrectly. If the email domain is still pending after 48 hours, check at your DNS provider that all four records exist and that their names and values match exactly, then reopen the Domains card to check again. If you no longer have the records, see Add the DNS Records Manually.
[en] After an email domain is connected, its row shows the full address, with icons to copy or disconnect it. To copy the address, click the copy icon.
[en] To disconnect an email domain:
-
[en] In the row for the email domain, click the Disconnect domain icon.
-
[en] Click Delete this email domain.
[en] Your site's domain stays connected to your site.
Avvertimento
[en] Disconnecting the marketing email domain stops marketing emails. Campaigns and automation emails can't be sent until a marketing email domain is connected and verified again. Disconnecting the transactional email domain doesn't stop email. Contact form emails are sent from a shared Duda address instead.
[en] To change the part of the address before the @ symbol, disconnect the email domain and connect it again with the new name. New records are generated each time, so if you added the records manually, replace them with the new ones.
Nota
[en] If you change your site's custom domain to a different domain, the email domains are disconnected automatically. Connect them again on the new domain. Marketing emails can't be sent until the new marketing email domain is verified.
[en] Each email domain uses four DNS records, whether they were added through one-click setup or manually:
-
[en] Mail record (CNAME): connects your sending address to Duda's email service and handles SPF authentication.
-
[en] Two DKIM records (CNAME): let receiving mail servers confirm your emails weren't changed after they were sent.
-
[en] DMARC record (TXT): tells receiving mail servers what to do with emails that fail authentication.
[en] Keep these records in your DNS settings for as long as the email domain is connected. Removing any of them can stop emails from being delivered.
Nota
[en] No separate SPF record is needed, so you don't need to change an existing SPF record on your domain.
